Why the best homes never reach the portals
Six in ten of our sales happen off-market. Here is why owners prefer it, and what it means for buyers.

A listing on a property portal is a public record. Photographs of a family home, its floor plan and its price stay online long after the sale, and for many of our clients that is reason enough to avoid it.
The buyer’s side
For buyers, off-market can sound exclusive in the wrong way. In practice it simply means being known to us: a conversation, a clear brief and the patience to wait for the right house.
When something appears that fits, we call. Most of our buyers have seen fewer than five homes before they find theirs.
